About the Process

Thank you for your interest in the 2012-2014 Dual Investment Program!

The application process is comprised of three stages:

1. Venture Concept Paper
2. Venture Proposal
3. In-person Interview

Submission deadlines will be posted at the start of each stage of the process. Applicants will be notified whether they advance to the next stage approximately four weeks after each stage closes. In-person Interviews will take place late Summer 2012, and the Dual Investment Program will begin in September 2012.

Guidelines for Applying

To create and submit an application, you must complete the following steps:

1. Register: Click "Register" link in the top right corner of your screen. You will need to provide a valid email address and create a password.
2. Create Application: Once you have logged in, a "Start New Application" link will appear beneath the "Create Application" heading to the right.
3. Complete Contact Form: We'd like to know where to contact you, if we need more information. This information will not be shared externally.
4. Complete Venture Concept Paper: Application questions are designed to resemble elements of a social impact business plan. Please answer all questions thoroughly yet concisely. Supplementary guiding questions are included to help you think through each question.
5. Complete Demographic Intake Form: We're interested in learning more about who our applicants are. Information provided here will NOT be evaluated as part of the application submitted, and personal information will never be shared externally.
6. Submit the Forms: There are both "Save" and "Submit as Final" buttons as part of the application. Please make sure that your answers are fully submitted before the deadline!

You can save and come back to your application from now until the submission deadline. Feel free to print the questions, if you find it easier to complete them that way. Please keep in mind, however, that you must submit your answers via the online application.

Your complete application (including all three forms) must be submitted by the deadline posted. Once you submit your application, you can no longer edit it -- so please review your answers carefully prior to submission.
